David Paul Stevens

David Stevens is a writer/ producer/ performer from Philadelphia. The owner of Sanctifly Music Group, located in the suburbs of Bryn Mawr PA, has stepped beyond the producer's chair, to front an amazing contemporary jazz career. Dave's first album was an experiment to test the waters. The album was entitled "Timeless". Though very smooth, and very experimental in it's approach, it was a ground breaking project for the artist, that landed him in some very strategic venues and in the company of some very influential musicians/ people. Dave's new offering is titled "The Way It Was" This album, Due out in february of 08 is an ode to the Philadelphia jam sessions from the late 80s, early 90s. Says Dave "I really wanted to break out of the box for this album. I didn't want to aim for radio, and the whole smooth jazz thing. There are some great smooth jazz songs on here, but as a whole, they are mostly songs that I believe strongly represent me and my upbringing!" Please check out both Timeless and The way it Was!
